Reviews and Ratings
I enjoyed a peaceful stay at the hotel, which is set in a quiet area and away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal. The rooms were decent, but could definitely use some updating to enhance comfort. The staff provided excellent service, being very attentive and accommodating. However, the location made it challenging to explore the area without a car, and the dining experience left something to be desired with very basic meal options. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it’s not quite there yet.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay with spacious rooms and stunning views, making it a great choice for a peaceful retreat. Guests rave about the breakfast spread and the helpfulness of the staff. However, the limited Wi-Fi access and some dated amenities are areas that could use improvement. Overall, it's a charming spot with convenient transport options to nearby Funchal.
This hotel offers a unique blend of charm and tranquility, with lovely views from the higher altitude. The dining options are a highlight with delicious vegetarian meals prepared specifically for dietary needs. However, the shuttle service and some other promised amenities fell short of expectations, which slightly dampened the overall experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The view from my room and the dining options were highlights, especially the breakfast variety. However, I found the shuttle service to be quite limiting, and the room furniture could use an update. Overall, it's a charming place but has room for improvement.
My stay started off rocky, as we felt unwelcome and faced some rude service upon arrival. However, the hotel group quickly stepped in to transfer us to a much better hotel where we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. Overall, while the initial experience was disappointing, the hotel's management did try to make amends, highlighting some strengths in customer service when things went wrong.
